Torchflex™ TP-250-Cap Heat Welded Cap Sheet
Torchflex™ TP-250-Cap is a premium SBS-modified bitumen cap sheet designed for use in high-performance commercial and industrial roofing systems. Reinforced with a tough non-woven polyester mat strengthened with select glass fiber strands, this heat-welded membrane delivers exceptional durability, flexibility, and long-term weather protection. It is commonly used as the top layer in two-ply modified bitumen roofing systems and built-up roofing (BUR) assemblies.
The membrane is coated with SBS-modified asphalt on both sides and features ceramic-coated mineral granules embedded into the surface to provide superior resistance against ultraviolet (UV) radiation and environmental exposure. A micro-perforated thermofusible film on the underside disappears during torch application, ensuring a secure heat-welded bond.
